Welcome to the web site of Monaghan Photographic Society - one of Ireland's leading Photographic Societies. Monaghan Photographic Society meets every Tuesday night from September until Easter for practical workshops in darkroom and studio, guest speakers and competitions. The Annual General Meeting is held on April 14. A beginners course in photography is held during October and November on Thursday nights.

A permanent collection of photographs is held by Monaghan Photographic Society. The collection is formed from winning entries for the society’s premier annual competition (The Slattery Trophy), and winning entries from society members in the Premier National Competitions organised by the Irish Photographic Society.
